Wearable art

In 2010 in pursuit of a more immediate and colorful way of working I began a new line of wearable art. A distinctive feature of my works in porcelain is the monochromatic green and white glazed surface.Exploring wearable art has freed me up to explore the playful world of colour. Continuing a tradition of reusing materials and incorporating found objects, my latest necklaces are glazed porcelain pendants assembled with found objects, buttons, bath mat, beads and ribbon that were collected throughout Europe in 2011 while I was doing a residency in Fiskars, Finland.
